摘要
晚清来华女传教士主要工作对象是妇女，她们自身有西方与宗教背景，同时又长期受中国文化的影响，使得其对中国妇女现状与未来的认知既矛盾又不无协调。义和团运动前后，男女平等、女权思想逐渐成为中国妇女的新追求，女传教士没有忽视社会的变化，在教会学校女生教材《家学集珍·女子须知》第2版修订时以修身、爱家、爱国、爱天国为逻辑，通过律法、女权、平等、自由等的讨论，将女信徒引入时代变革中。同时受基督教家庭观念与中国传统文化的双重影响，《女子须知》也有明显的贤妻良母主义特征。
